Facilities Guide
The Hotel Shop (7:30 - 20:00)
The hotel shop provides original food items which allow you to enjoy a taste of Nara Hotel at home and local specialties of Nara.
Exhibition Room (8:00 - 21:00)
This room introduces the 100-year history of Nara Hotel through a display featuring chronological tables and various items previously used in the hotel.
Place of scenic beauty Kyu-Daijoin-teien (Former Daijoin Temple Garden: 9:00 - 17:00)
Founded in 1087, Daijoin Temple was one of the high-ranking temples that flourished from the Heian to the Edo era. Nara Hotel stands in part of the temple's garden. Hotel guests may stroll around the garden free of charge. It is closed on Mondays. (If Monday falls on a national holiday, the garden is closed on the following day.)
